Favour

You are doing no one but YOURSELF the favour by changing your ways.

Jeremiah(26:13) Now therefore mend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God, and the LORD will relent of the disaster that he has pronounced against you...Amen!!

Dear brothers and sisters, As you begin your day today, I want to talk to you about 'Robin Williams', if you do a little google about him, you will get to see a lot of messages and obituaries from his friends, fans, all of which would speak about how great an inspiration he was, what a great human being he was, his charity work etc., you won't be able to find one negative thing about him. Even when you try and recollect his face, you only would see an ever smiling face. A man who made us happy.

A couple of days ago, I came across this article from an air hostess, sharing her experiences with him over the years, she goes on to tell, how good a person he was in spite of his 'celebrity' status. And how he always made her feel special, during the flight. Last night, I stumbled upon yet another article, where an event organizer or someone of that sort, talks about his encounter with him. All these celebrities, when they sign up for an act / movie / show, they give the organizers, I guess they call it a 'Rider' list,  which would basically contain everything, every little bit of things the artist would need during the production, it kind of would tell what kind of 'person' he / she is going by the requirements sort to speak. Now Mr.Williams' list, I guess would always (have) say that the studio / organizers would have to hire a certain number of 'homeless' people to work in that particular project. That was also one of his ways of touching lives in addition to other philanthropy works of his..

Now,  we are looking at a man who had everything, and he did everything he could for people around him, yet he could not find his peace, he died a lonely death, they say 'suicide' it was.

We too are 'Robin Williams' in some way, we try and inspire people when we can, we try to keep everyone around us happy, we do charity in our own small ways, we try and make a difference in this world with our little deeds.

We need to understand that all of this would only give us 'SATISFACTION'.. The real 'PEACE' can come only through Christ

(John 14:27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

May we examine our hearts this morning, beyond all our 'satisfactions' May we find HIM. May we find 'Peace'.

What good it is to gain the whole world, but loose ones soul? (Matt 16:26)

Believe

(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever 'BELIEVES' in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
My dear bothers and sisters, The promise is very clear 'whoever' 'BELIEVES'. To believe is to put all your trust in him. To walk, even when you don't see any 'light at the end of the tunnel'.
May we all learn to 'walk in faith' and 'walk the faith'...Amen!!

He Can...He ALONE Can...

God wants us to know 'HE CAN'.. He wants us to believe that 'HE ALONE CAN'...

We have people in our lives that are Angry, Sour, Bitter, Manipulative, lying, Stealing, Adulterers and what not...The Lord is willing to take them all in, ARE WE?? He has a place for them all in his kingdom, DO WE??

We ourselves have all been one or many of these 'persons', at some or many occasions in our lives. We still continue to be so at times, yet we seek for his forgiveness and mercy. May we also learn to be forgiving and accepting to those that are struggling with these areas in life.

We can make a whole lot of list and many more of such things to HATE someone, During such times remember, He had only one reason to die for you and me on the cross. LOVE.

May you and I learn to Love and NOT JUDGE each other..
May you and I learn to forgive and NOT FORGET each other..

It is not going to be easy, God never promised it was going to be easy, Remember "small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matthew 7:14). However 'We can do all things with CHRIST who strengthens us'

May you and I find our hope and peace in HIM.
May you and I give up on ourselves and be dependent on HIM.

May you and I believe HE CAN and HE ALONE CAN...Amen!!

The Appointment

Your rest of day would most definitely be 'DISAPPOINTING' if you don't make the first 'APPOINTMENT' for the day with him...Amen!! May your day start with the Lord, For He Says, (Jeremiah 33:3) "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know". (Isaiah 42:16) "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them".

An Awesome God

We worship an AWESOME GOD. This day he's made for you and me is going to be nothing short of AWESOME too! May you find HIS awesomeness in everything and everyone you come across today..Amen!

The Battle

When you feel 'Lost and Lonely'... When things look 'Dull and Depressing'... Remember "The Lord shall perfect that which concerns thee" (psalms 138:8)...Amen!!

Deliverance

He opened the red sea to deliver his people out of captivity! How difficult could it be for him to open the doors to set you & I free? (Mathew 17:20) "for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you" May you stretch out your hand in faith & prayer like that of Moses, May the Lord open up the path to overcome the challenge that's in front of you. Amen!!

He was a Sinner...

He was a sinner all his life, he might've had so many chances to change himself, he let them pass. When all have had lost their hopes on him and put him on the cross. When death came knocking at his door, Just then may be it occurred to him, there could still be some hope left and he wanted to redeem himself, he turned around and he pleaded (Luke 23:42,43) "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." and a lifetime full of sins ended in salvation. The Lord wants us to remember this, Each of us have his / her own cross and lets not judge each other, because there's always hope. Even when all have given up and all doors are closed. His heart will always be open. So be open to your fellow brothers and sisters...Amen!!

The Door

The doors to our hearts opens (only) from the inside. We have been hoarding the place with all our fears, anxieties, worries, hopelessness and what not, that the doors are now jammed with all the dump. Unless we clear it all out, The Lord cannot come in. It's about time we cleaned the place up, Grab your Prayer Mops now...Amen!! (Revelation 3:20) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

The Seed

It may be hard for us to understand God's promises for our lives... Look at the giant trees, they were all tiny seeds one day.. The seed is no different than us, It knew not what it was to become.. (Philippians 1:6)" I am sure that God Who began the good work in you will keep on working in you until the day"...Amen!!

Stand Guard

If you do not PRAY you will fall PREY to the devil....Amen! "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). Therefore "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong" (1 Corinthians 16:13)

The Lost Sheep

When trouble crumbles you down, Remember,he stretched out his hands some two thousand years ago, called you by your name.. (Isaiah 43:1) "O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine" He's patiently waiting for you and me, his arms still outstretched! May we turn to his voice today..(John 10:3) "and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him" May we find rest in him this day..Amen!!

Blessing

Blessed is the man who has his Faith in God and is Faithful to God...Amen!!

The Word

Unless we immerse ourselves in 'THE WORD', we will never be able to stop us from drowning in THE 'WORLD'..Amen!!

God's Promise

We might loose everything we hold close to our hearts in this entire world, however even if the whole world stands against us, Nothing.. Nothing can take away his plans and the place 'HE' has for you and me in him..Amen!!

The Choice

We often say "come on! I'm Only Human, I'm No Saint"..We seldom realize that those 'Saints' too were born just like you and me, and they became what they became because of the 'Choices' they made!..We got to remember.. Every saint has had a past, some worse than ours and everyone of us has a hope for a better future, may be much better than theirs !!! So lets make 'some' right choices today ... Amen!!

Book Of Life

Of the many chapters in our life, We are 'The Prince' in some and 'A Pauper' in another, Remember this though! God is the Author of the book, & you and I are his heroes. And 'The Book', will always have a happy ending :) - Amen!.

Believe

We ask 100 people to pray, We offer 1000 offerings asking for a favor, We see in 1 million places for a sign, If only we 'Believe' in him for just 1 sec, All things are possible with Christ who strengthens us !!! Amen

Help Me Oh Lord!!

Lord,There's nothing I need to fear, when you are near.
Yet your presence oh lord, sometimes I can't feel,
My heart fails to believe that there's nothing the evil can steal.
I keep looking for your signs and end up finding none.

It feels like I'm all alone and my miseries have all grown.
come down with all your might, oh God! So I can see your Light,
I can't continue this fight, unless I feel that I'm in your sight.
Fill me up more than before So I can be sure that I am ashore!!
