You Are Not!!

You are No Mistake..

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10)

You are Not Forgotten..

You are Not Small..

I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you, And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2)

And You will Never be a Failure..

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.(Isaiah 41:10)

Peace

Dear brothers and sisters, As you begin your day today, I want to talk to you about 'Robin Williams', if you do a little google about him, you will get to see a lot of messages and obituaries from his friends, fans, all of which would speak about how great an inspiration he was, what a great human being he was, his charity work etc., you won't be able to find one negative thing about him. Even when you try and recollect his face, you only would see an ever smiling face. A man who made us happy.

A couple of days ago, I came across this article from an air hostess, sharing her experiences with him over the years, she goes on to tell, how good a person he was in spite of his 'celebrity' status. And how he always made her feel special, during the flight. Last night, I stumbled upon yet another article, where an event organizer or someone of that sort, talks about his encounter with him. All these celebrities, when they sign up for an act / movie / show, they give the organizers, I guess they call it a 'Rider' list,  which would basically contain everything, every little bit of things the artist would need during the production, it kind of would tell what kind of 'person' he / she is going by the requirements sort to speak. Now Mr.Williams' list, I guess would always (have) say that the studio / organizers would have to hire a certain number of 'homeless' people to work in that particular project. That was also one of his ways of touching lives in addition to other philanthropy works of his..

Now,  we are looking at a man who had everything, and he did everything he could for people around him, yet he could not find his peace, he died a lonely death, they say 'suicide' it was.

We too are 'Robin Williams' in some way, we try and inspire people when we can, we try to keep everyone around us happy, we do charity in our own small ways, we try and make a difference in this world with our little deeds.

We need to understand that all of this would only give us 'SATISFACTION'.. The real 'PEACE' can come only through Christ

(John 14:27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

May we examine our hearts this morning, beyond all our 'satisfactions' May we find HIM. May we find 'Peace'.

What good it is to gain the whole world, but loose ones soul? (Matt 16:26)

Judge NOT!

God does not need your help in judging anyone. May Thy focus be on HIM and Him alone..Amen!!

His Love

May his unfailing love help get us through all our failures, And May his hope of peace help put us at ease..Amen! Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10)

Guilt

It is the GUILT and not GOD that would stop you from experiencing his Grace... Amen!!

A New Beginning

He pulled you and me from the deepest of the trenches, We may have wandered away Today,We may have forgotten our calling, But He's the 'Same' God Yesterday, Today & Forever (Hebrews 13:8)... Do not loose hope, For He says, "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." (Isaiah 43:19) He will make something new today - Amen!!

The Door

The doors to our hearts opens (only) from the inside. We have been hoarding the place with all our fears, anxieties, worries, hopelessness and what not, that the doors are now jammed with all the dump. Unless we clear it all out, The Lord cannot come in. It's about time we cleaned the place up, Grab your Prayer Mops now...Amen!! (Revelation 3:20) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

The Way

You could either stop and ask for directions or keep doing the roundabouts at every ‘Traffic Circle’.. What’s going to be your choice today? (Matthew 21:22) “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Tell you what though, this “Traffic sergeant” is never going to be wrong!! – Amen!!!

The Guilt

Why pay with guilt when forgiveness is free...Amen! (1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (Romans 4:7) “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered"

Faith

'RUSTED' screws that we are, stuck to the current situation, unable to set ourselves free... It is quite a task to unscrew a rusted screw.. However, it takes only a moment.. A moment in Prayer.. A moment of Realization.. A moment of Faith.. to remove yourself from whatever situation you are in right this moment. "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20)..Amen!!

The Cross

He got himself nailed on the cross so that you and I can walk away free from all our sins..Amen!!

The Choice

We often say "come on! I'm Only Human, I'm No Saint"..We seldom realize that those 'Saints' too were born just like you and me, and they became what they became because of the 'Choices' they made!..We got to remember.. Every saint has had a past, some worse than ours and everyone of us has a hope for a better future, may be much better than theirs !!! So lets make 'some' right choices today ... Amen!!

Practical Thinking

Next time you want to talk about being 'Practical', think about those 'HIGHLY IMPRACTICAL' things that God did in your life in the past, coz of which you are what you are today!! Amen!

Realization

Lord, every time I feel uncertain and insecure about my future, I think of the past,The path you've brought me through,All my fears becomes worthless..Thank you for those moments of realization..You've brought me so far, you'll take me further...Amen

Every Saint Has a Past and Every Sinner a Future

The words says it all. These words made a big impact on me, when I came across one of those forwarded emails, which we all get. The moment we see the forward, on the subject tab, we gently delete it. most of the times, we do not take time to read it. This particular one I decided to read it for some reason and what an eye opener it was.
A lot of times, even though we are saved, we tend to forget the path that we took before God found us, we tend to forget the times God overlooked our shortcoming. and take even simple things that people did to us so seriously, sometimes they did not mean them to harm us either the way it did.
We not only take that particular incident but try and connect all the negatives of that person that we can from his or her past that we have bottled up over a period of time. We fail to realize that "Every Sinner has a future" and we too have a "past" that is as worse as the other persons.
